Rihanna in her first interview since the altercation with ex boyfriend Chris Brown. Part of the interview aired this Morning Thursday November 5th on Good Morning America with Dianne Sawyer. The full interview will air in full tomorrow night on 20/20 I will definitely be tuning in for this. I love Rihanna! and I think it's good that she is finally speaking publicly about this issue and letting young girls know that domestic violence is real and you don't have to stand for it.
In the interview Rihanna stated "That's embarrassing that that's the type of person that I fell in love with,""[I was] so far in love, so unconditional that I went back. It's humiliating to say this happened. To accept that? It's a traumatizing experience."
"I stayed. I even went back after he beat me, which was wrong," she admitted. "But again ... I'm a human being, and people put me on a very unrealistic pedestal. And all these expectations, I'm not perfect. Also it's pretty natural for that to be the first reaction. ... It's completely normal to go back. You start lying to yourself. The minute the physical wounds go away you want this thing to go away. This is a memory you don't want to have ever again."
Tune in to 20/20 tomorrow night for the full interview check your local listings for showtime.
All I have to say is it sucks to be Chris Brown at this point in time his album is about to drop and Rihanna is telling her story to us finally. I love both artists music and people can go back and fourth about how they think the fight started but
what chris did to her is just plain wrong. Sorry Chris I think it might be a wrap for you after this interview airs in full.
